Specializing in offshore fishing, his expertise is catching Tuna, Halibut, Salmon, Lingcod, and Rock Fish. Brennan has the patience, knowledge, experience, drive, teaching ability, and confidence that makes a great Captain!
Captain Brennan is CPR and First Aid Certified, fully licensed with the State of Oregon, and fully insured.

The Fleet
F/V Movin Weight is a 2023 Raider Coastal. At 27' 3" LOA it is an exceptional fishing platform, offering ample space for a crew of six. With its 1/4" bottom, self-bailing deck, deep hull rocket, industry leading offshore bracket, and its offshore style bow shear, this vessel is an absolute beast on the open water of the Pacific Ocean.
Powered by a 2023 Suzuki 300hp main motor and equipped with all of the top of the line electronics, we are well equipped to handle any conditions the mighty Pacific throws at us.

With the roomy, fully enclosed, and heated cab, you can ensure a warm and comfortable ride out to the fishing grounds.
Safety is paramount with BA Guide Service and we are equipped with an auto deploy life raft, which can be manually deployed if necessary. We are also equipped with an EPIRB, which is a device that sends a distress signal to search and rescue authorities with exact coordinates when activated. This unit will also auto deploy in an emergency situation or can be manually activated.

Guests should be sure that they have a current Oregon fishing license on them during the time of the trip as well as a harvest tag while fishing for Salmon or Halibut.
Guests should also bring a lunch and drinks.
With a fully enclosed and heated cab, the run out to the fishing grounds will be warm, dry, and comfortable. However, it is highly recommended to wear warm clothes, with the option to dress down if needed. Waterproof outer gear is also highly recommended. Weather can change frequently on the mighty Pacific and having the ability to stay dry, warm, or cool while fishing makes the experience much more enjoyable.
